I am a fine artist based in New England. Growing up in Connecticut, I developed a love for natural landscapes that inspire a lot of my paintings. I like capturing moments in time and preserving memories with my art.

I studied Studio Art and Biology at the University of Connecticut before completing my masters at Johns Hopkins School of Nursing. I now work as a pediatric oncology nurse. Working in healthcare has influenced the way I see and approach my art in many ways.

I work with both acrylic and oil paints, developing my style through independent practice, mentorship from teachers and professors, and guidance from my biggest inspiration, my mom Susan Cancian, a professional oil painter. I continue to grow as an artist, always pushing myself toward her level of creativity and skill that I have long admired.

Please feel free to reach out if you’d like to learn more about my work or are interested in one of my paintings.
